DeAndre Ayton did not play the first quarter of Suns’ win against the Thunder because he missed the mandatory covid test on Sunday. He had the test on Monday and was cleared to play.
Per ESPN, The television broadcasts of the game showed the 6-foot-11 Ayton riding a stationary bike near the Suns’ bench during the first quarter.
He eventually entered the game in the second quarter and finished with 10 points and six rebounds in 17 minutes.
