Zenit’s Covid last cases are Ponitka, Volkhin, Baron, Pangos, Pascual and two staff members

Re-testing of PCR (Covid-19) revealed positive results among the players and coaches of the team.

Mateusz Ponitka, Igor Volkhin, Bill Baron, Kevin Pangos, and representatives of the coaching staff – Xavi Pascual, Inigo Zorzano Pascual, Sergey Voznyuk, Yaroslav Yalovchuk, were added to the positive results already voiced by Arturas Gudaitis, Anton Pushkov, Vladislav Trushkin, Austin Hollins and masseur Andrei Kozlov.

All players and coaching staff are isolated and under constant supervision of the medical staff.

Thus, at the moment, the main team of the Club has positive results for the presence of Covid-19 in 8 players, 4 coaches, and 1 masseur.

VTB United League and Euroleague were promptly notified of the critical situation in the main team.
