Russian side Zenit St Petersburg further confirmed their Playoff status in this year’s Euroleague after defeating Anadolu Efes Istanbul, giving a blow in the Turks momentum to rebuild their European campaign after a poor start. Zenit built on a massive first half (53-31), controlling the game in the second part.
Will Thomas led seven teammates in double digit for points with 14, with Pangos and Hollins adding 13 each and Gudaitis completing a double-double (11+10). Efes had 23 from Micic and 20 from Larkin.
