Partizan Belgrade is ready for an important EuroLeague double-header, where they will play Alba Berlin and then Bayern Munich. In the press conference, coach Zeljko Obradovic spoke about the difficult period his team is facing, also considering the very heavy KO against Anadolu Efes a week ago. Below are his comments as reported by Mozzart Sport.
Obradovic’s words: “These fans, who follow and support us every moment, do not deserve to see this picture they have seen. First of all, I know how much they respect me, how they welcome me every time I go out. Maybe it’s time for Partizan fans to change a little. Maybe it is time for them to insult me, because it is abnormal the way we played this game. I’ll start with myself: let’s all think about whether the people who come to the arena deserve to see Partizan like this. After all the good things we have done this year, we come to play such a game against Efes. This is my appeal to the players, to myself and to the fans. They are always there for the team, they have been and they will be, but we, the players, have to react to give them satisfaction. Even if our knees are bleeding, let the fans at least say they fought back. And don’t look like almost half the players are waiting for the game to end”.
