Zeljko Obradovic: We are preparing like it is any other game

Partizan head coach Zeljko Obradovic talked before EuroLeague Playoffs Game-1 against Real Madrid: «We are preparing like it is any other game. We know everything about them, they know everything about us. In the analysis, you come to some conclusions. What I particularly like is the reaction of the players, above all when it comes to the defense that we discussed. They came to propose something to me and we agreed. I trust the players completely. I like it when they suggest something because it increases their comfort zone, and we are aware that we are playing against an outstanding team. Of course it all starts with Tavares, but he, like every other player, has some weaknesses, there are some things we can use against him. We are talking about a team that has such a history that everyone knows who we are playing against. A team that has the ambition to win the title every year. Nothing has changed this season either. It is clear that they have experience through Fernandez, Llull and Rodriguez. They have won so many trophies, both with the club and with the national team. Then there are Yabusele, Deck, and young guys like Hezonja and Musa who give great quality. It’s a combination of everything, and everyone is capable of being the key player of the game. What I expect is that the game will be completely different compared to the one in Belgrade. They will try to adapt, and we tried to prepare for that as well. They are always favorites. As far as we are concerned, we are going at a good moment, the health situation is good. If anything, I expect it to be at least interesting».
