Zalgiris Kaunas defeated Lietkabelis 79-56 to advance to the Lithuanian Cup final, aiming for their sixth consecutive trophy

Despite recent struggles in EuroLeague, Zalgiris Kaunas remains dominant in Lithuania. Andrea Trinchieri’s squad secured a 79-56 victory over Lietkabelis, earning a spot in the King Mindaugas Cup final.

Lonnie Walker IV led the team with 19 points off the bench, while Ignas Bradzeikis (16 points) and Sylvain Francisco (14 points, 5 assists) also played key roles.

In the other semifinal, Neptunas Klaipeda pulled off a surprise win over BC Wolves, reaching the final for the first time in club history. Desure Buie starred with 22 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists, outshining strong performances from Anthony Cowan (21 points, 8 assists) and Tre’shawn Thurman (20 points, 9 rebounds).

Zalgiris now looks to secure their sixth consecutive Lithuanian Cup title, reaffirming their dominance in domestic competition.
