Zalgiris Kaunas is already thinking about the upcoming year. Brady Manek will continue to play for the Lithuanian champions, as his 1+1 contract has been renewed until the end of the 2025-2026 season.
Manek also signed a 1+1 contract with the club last summer, but had the option to look for a new team after the season. The renewed contract does not leave this option.
In his debut EuroLeague season, the big man is averaging 19 minutes on the court, collecting 7.5 points and 3.3 rebounds. He makes 42.9% of his three-pointers in the EuroLeague.
In the Lithuanian Basketball League, Manek is even more solid with 8.3 points and 2.9 rebounds, shooting 47.3% on three-pointers.
“As an organization, we are always looking forward, so when we are thinking about next season’s team, we definitely want to have Brady on it. He has adapted to the EuroLeague, fits well in the coaches’ schemes and is an elite shooter. We see more potential, so we are very happy that he also believed in our organization and decided to stay in Kaunas”, – said Paulius Jankunas, the club’s director.
The 25-year-old American, who is making his EuroLeague debut this season, previously played for Perth Wildcats (Australia) and Bursa Tofaş (Turkey).
