Zalgiris Kaunas’ announces Max Menetti as assistant coach

Zalgiris Kaunas becomes even more Italian. Next to Andrea Trinchieri on the Lithuanian bench will be Max Menetti. The club announced it today.

“We gave the coach time to look around. Now together with him we have agreed on how to strengthen the technical staff. All the coaches who have been part of the staff so far will also remain with the club, their functions will not change. The addition is necessary in order to be able to do an even better job during training and games,’ said Paulius Jankūnas, director of Kaunas Žalgiris.

This season, Max Menetti had moved to Israel to Hapoel Eilat. The coach from Reggio Emilia led the team in yesterday’s defeat on the court of Be’er Sheva.
