World champion Germany fell to a surprise defeat in Bulgaria. The final score was 67-62 in favour of Rosen Tsvetkov Barchovski’s men, who posted a resounding 21-8 in the second quarter and 28-17 in the fourth.
For Bulgaria it was 23 by Baskonia’s Codi Miller-Mcintyre with five rebounds and four assists, 15 by Hristo Zahariev.
For Germany, which loses 21 balls, 15 by Barcelona’s Oscar da Silva with 12 rebounds, 11 by Jonas Mattisek and David Kramer.
In Group D Bulgaria joined Germany with a 1-1 record.
