Will Barton and the Washington Wizards have reached an agreement on a buyout, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
Barton has until March 1 to sign with another team without losing his playoff eligibility.
Washington will use the roster spot freed up by the guard to convert Jordan Goodwin’s Two-Way contract.
The Saint Louis product is scoring 6.3 points per game with 3.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists and one steal.
Washington Wizards guard Will Barton has completed a contract buyout ahead of the March 1 deadline to become eligible to join a playoff roster on a new team, sources tell ESPN. Barton will become a free agent once he clears waivers.
