Will Clyburn, one of Segafredo Virtus Bologna’s key summer signings, spoke to the microphones of La Gazzetta dello Sport during Euroleague Media Day.
“There has been a lot of movement in the Euroleague market, with so many teams improving. Obradovic, however, has always said that the budgets alone can’t win the Euroleague: finding the right chemistry and becoming a strong group as soon as possible is even more important and is our main goal.”
The former Anadolu Efes forward shared his first impressions on the group he found in Bologna.
“We still haven’t seen the whole team yet, but we can definitely be a great defensive team with different lineups that will allow us to be very physical in many roles, especially on the perimeter. The most important thing is to stay healthy to give ourselves a chance to reach the playoffs. Once there, the teams with the best chemistry will advance.”
