Wendell Carter Jr. and the Orlando Magic have agreed on a three-year, $59 million contract extension. The deal brings his total to $82 million through the 2028-29 season, with the Magic holding a team option for that final year.
Last season, Carter averaged 11.0 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.7 assists over 55 games. Acquired in 2021 as part of the Nikola Vucevic trade, Carter previously signed a four-year, $50 million rookie extension.
