Draymond Green was ejected from a playoff game after stomping on Sacramento Kings forward Domantas Sabonis’ chest.
Stephen Curry grabbed a defensive rebound in the fourth quarter of Game 2 of the first-round playoff series on Monday night.
Sabonis slipped in the paint as Curry headed up the floor. Green’s right foot hit Sabonis’ chest as he tried to get up and run. Sabonis stayed down while officials reviewed the play.
Green was ejected after Sabonis was called for a technical foul for grabbing his leg.
After the win, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski that Sabonis would have rib and lung X-rays.
Sacramento fans chanted insults at Green, who waved his hands, held a hand to his ear, and stood on a chair with a towel around his shoulders.
Green previously received a one-game suspension in the 2016 Finals for too many flagrant fouls.
