Waczyński not with Poland’s NT anymore after Ponitka was chosen as a captain of the team

Adam Waczyński will not play Poland’s NT this summer.

On Thursday, Adam Waczyński had a conversation with coach Mike Taylor, in which he expressed his dissatisfaction for the way Ponitka was chosen as a captain of the team. He also told the coach that wanted to leave the group.

On Friday the player had another conversation with coach Mike Taylor and Waczyński expressed his desire to remain with the team. However coach Mike Taylor decided to cut him from the training camp in Gliwice.

Poland will play the OQT in Kaunas.
