Demolition has begun at Padiglione 35 in Bologna’s Fiera district, the future site of Virtus Segafredo’s EuroLeague arena, expected to hold nearly 10,000 seats and be ready by November 2026.
Virtus aims to align with EuroLeague’s structural standards, with VP Giuseppe Sermasi emphasizing the club’s commitment, also in light of upcoming events like Davis Cup and Eima.
On the transfer front, Virtus is reportedly eyeing Luca Vildoza, now with Olympiacos. Meanwhile, Varese fans are banned from traveling to Bologna for Sunday’s game due to safety concerns.
