Virtus Bologna: Cacok’s future uncertain, Bell set to sign

Jordan Bell, however, remains a feasible option, having turned down offers from China and awaiting Virtus’ call

According to Repubblica-Bologna (page 11), Virtus Bologna is preparing to face Asvel Villeurbanne, but questions remain over the status of forward Devontae Cacok. Reporter Walter Fuochi states: “Cacok is technically available, but he remains on the sidelines, and it’s unclear when he will return. His spot on the roster is increasingly uncertain, with the club already issuing a letter outlining his status. He might only be ready by December.”

In the meantime, the club’s executive, Virtus Bologna GM Paolo Ronci, continues exploring market options: “From NBA connections like Bruno Fernando of the Atlanta Hawks to Israeli-based Johnathan Motley, currently with Hapoel, none are viable options due to various constraints. Similar moves like the ones made in Russia for Toko Shengelia and Daniel Hackett seem unlikely now due to financial limits. Jordan Bell, however, remains a feasible option, having turned down offers from China and awaiting Virtus’ call.”
