In the summer, the target of the Taronja management is Jaka Lakovic. Born in 1978 in Ljubljana, after his playing career Lakovic began to train as a coach with Barcelona, Bilbao and Badalona. After three years as head coach at Ulm, he has been leading Gran Canaria since 2022, with whom he won the 2023 EuroCup and has a contract until 2025.
