That’s the statement of Valencia Basket, translated in english, after what happened yesterday in Samokov at the end of the game 2 of EuroCup’s semifinals played against Hapoel Tel Aviv. The match ended with a 96-91 for the Hapoel side.
“Valencia Basket wants to publicly condemn what happened yesterday after the second game of the BKT EuroCup semifinals.
The insults, moments of tension, and constant situations where the integrity of the members of the Valencia delegation was put at risk are intolerable and a disgrace to our sport and the values it seeks to promote.
In light of this unacceptable situation, the Club has already filed a formal complaint with the competition and expects that, as it should be, the actions will be harshly punished, and that the situation will serve as an example to prevent it from happening again”.
