Valencia Basket informed its men’s team coach, Álex Mumbrú, of the decision to end his contract.
Since arriving at our Club in the summer of 2022, Mumbrú led the team in 133 games with a balance of 63 wins and 70 losses between Liga Endesa, Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and Copa del Rey.
The Club wants to thank the professionalism, dedication and work carried out by Álex during the time in which he has occupied the first seat on the Valencia Basket bench, and wishes him the best in his future, both professionally and personally.
Xavi Albert takes over the team
Likewise, the Club has decided that the assistant coach until now Xavi Albert will now oversee the men’s team. Xavi will lead his first practice as head coach of the team today, Friday.
