USC sophomore JuJu Watkins has signed a multiyear extension with Nike, securing one of the most lucrative endorsement deals in women’s basketball history, according to ESPN. The negotiations, finalized on Tuesday, were led by Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul and Watkins’ team, including agent Jade-Li English and marketing heads Eric Eways and Brittany McCallum.
Watkins initially signed with Nike in October 2022 as a high school senior. Last season, she set the NCAA Division I freshman scoring record with 920 points, surpassing a mark from 1983-84. Watkins is currently the Associated Press Preseason Player of the Year.
