Ulm upsets Bayern in German BBL tournament’s opening day

Finally, basketball is back

Finally, basketball is back as the German BBL 10-team tournament is underway in Munich.

In the first game in Europe in almost three months, BG Göttingen took the win over Crailsheim. 21-year-old PG Bennet Hundt led all scorers with 30 PTS on 5-of-9 for three.

In the second game of the day, Ratiopharm Ulm (without Killian Hayes) pulled the upset over German powerhouse Bayern Munich (without Greg Monroe and Nihad Djedovic). Tyler Harvey had 21 points for Ulm.
