Udoka Azubuike is the new Budućnost VOLI center
A decision has been made on who shall become the new rim protector of Budućnost VOLI, and it is former Kansas Jayhawks star – Udoka Azubuike
A Lagos-born player, who owns both American and Nigerian passport, has finished his highschool career at Potter’s House Christian Academy. He later moved to Kansas University.
Udoka Azubuike arrived to the NBA with a status of the best defensive player of the NCAA League, after being selected in the 2020 as the 27th overall pick at the NBA Draft by the Utah Jazz. Later he moved to Phoenix Suns.
In his best NBA season, as a member of Utah Jazz, he used to average 4.7 points and 4.2 rebounds per game.
