Bad news for the Philadelphia 76ers who, already without their superstar Joel Embiid, will also be without their second fiddle, Tyrese Maxey, for tonight’s game. According to Keith Pompey of the Philly Inquirer, the player will return to Philadelphia for further evaluation of a suspected concussion.
Maxey reportedly experienced classic concussion symptoms and took a hard hit to the back of the head in the game against the Dallas Mavericks, but doctors reportedly cleared the player to remain in the game. In the last 24 hours, however, the point guard reportedly experienced the aforementioned symptoms and was ruled out of the game against the Brooklyn Nets.
