Tyrese Haliburton avoids fine for Game 2 celebration, gets only a warning

The Pacers star danced after his game-winner but won’t be punished, despite past fines for similar moves

Tyrese Haliburton received only a warning from the NBA for his Game 2 celebration following a clutch 3-pointer that sealed a 120-119 win over Cleveland.

The Indiana Pacers guard expected a fine for the move, previously penalized when used by players like LeBron James and Julius Randle. But the league took a lenient stance this time.

Haliburton’s shot completed a 20-point comeback and gave Indiana a 2-0 series lead. Games 3 and 4 will be played in Indianapolis.
