SYNTAINICS MBC has signed experienced US player Tyren Johnson for the forward position. Johnson, 36, comes from SLUC Nancy, where he averaged 10.8 points and 3.1 rebounds in 34 games last season.
Coach Janis Gailitis considers him a ‘passionate and experienced winner’ who will contribute to the team’s mentality. Johnson will make his debut in the easyCredit BBL against Rostock in September, wearing jersey number 2. Now the club is looking for one more addition: an offensive shooting guard.
