The Heat lost starting guard and top scorer Tyler Herro: he sprained his right ankle on a penetration in the first quarter. The player reached the locker room hopping and did not return.
In the locker room after the game, Herro was wearing crutches and a bandage around his injured ankle.
Herro called it “unfortunate” that he tripped over Jaren Jackson Jr.’s foot and spoke of at least “a couple of weeks” of being out.
“It’s something I felt right away when it happened,” Herro said. “I felt something creak and pop in my ankle.”
Was busy so i missed this but prayers for Tyler Herro that this injury isn’t too bad 🙏 pic.twitter.com/yBX5sPN7yp
