Efes and Fenerbahce win in Turkish Cup semifinals and will compete for the trophy in the final on Sunday

Efes and Fenerbahce won in the semifinals of the Turkish Cup by beating Pinar Karsiyaka and Besiktas, respectively.

For Efes difficult and balanced game until the end, the victory came with the result of 81-77 built especially in the first period, where coach Mijatovic’s team made a 23-16 partial. For Efes there were 23 points with 6 rebounds and 5 assists by Shane Larkin, Pleiss’ 16 points with 10 rebounds and Will Clyburn’s 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Pinar did not need Errick McCollum’s 20 with 8 assists and Vernon Carey’s 18 points with 11 rebounds.

All was easy instead for Fenerbahce, which defeated 99-68 a Besiktas that was never in the game. In fact, Coach Jasikevicius’ team finished the first quarter with a score of 32-8, immediately putting the game on ice. For Fenerbahce there were Motley’s 23 points, as well as 13 apiece from Sanli, Biberovic and Wilbekin. Besiktas needed nothing from Simonovic’s 19 points with 7 rebounds.

The final between Efes and Fenerbahce will be played Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Italian time.
