Tony Wroten: My goal is to return in NBA

Wroten was selected by the Memphis Grizzlies at No.25 in the 2012 NBA Draft

During an interview with Spanish reporter Chema de Lucas, Badalona guard Tony Wroten said that he wants to return in NBA.

I think injuries are the reason I’m not in the NBA, but it all happens for a reason. But I feel like it’s never too late. I definitely feel like I came here to play in the NBA again, but I know God has a plan for me. Injuries are something you have no control over. Yes my goal is to return.

I hope to continue growing and improving.I want to continue growing and continue improving. I am still 27 years old and young. I’m still reaching my peak and I love it.

This year Wroten played 13 BCL games for BC Anwil, with averages of 18.4 points, 4 assist and 1.5 steals, shooting 50% from the field and 28% from beyond the arc.

Then the guard signed with Badalona, where he played just 4 games before the suspension.
