Tom Thibodeau is eager to become the next head coach of the New York Knicks, sources told Marc Berman of the New York Post. “He really wants the Knick job. He can taste it and he may even be in the lead,” said a source close to Thibodeau.
The New York Post previously reported that Thibodeau and Jeff Van Gundy are on Leon Rose’s shortlist to take over as the Knicks head coach. Thibodeau is inactive since the ending of his tenure with the Minnesota Timberwolves in January 2019.
