ASVEL Villeurbanne scored a nice win at home against Baskonia in the fourth round of the EuroLeague. The French side won 76-69 at the end of a game that was a bit of a struggle for both sides: the home team played an excellent defensive game and only suffered in the third period, when they allowed their opponents to score 28 points. In fact, Baskonia only managed 41 points in the other three quarters.
The irrepressible Theo Maledon had 25 points and 6 assists for ASVEL, while Neal Sako had a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Baskonia also got 18 points and 8 rebounds from Chima Moneke, 15 points and 7 rebounds from Donta Hall and 10 points from Kamar Baldwin.
