The Philadelphia 76ers will waive Paul Reed, a 25-year-old center who was always on the court last season and also contributed well to the team. The player in fact had a non-guaranteed contract for next season, and the franchise decided to waive him after reaching an agreement with free agent Caleb Martin. Reed averaged 7.3 points and 6 rebounds per game last season.
