Notable challengers come in the form of Kansas, UCLA and Villanova who will no doubt have a say in where the title ends up. 

Our three players to watch out for this year include Gonzaga’s: Drew Timme, Illinois’ Kofi Cockburn and UCLA’s Johnny Juzang. Timme broke onto the scene as a Freshman last year during Gonzaga’s near perfect run to the Championship Final. He ranked alongside the now Detroit Pistons player Luka Garza as one of the best offensive performers. Juzang returns this year after a devastating last minute defeat ended the 20/21 campaign. A strong athlete and impressive talent who averaged just under 23 ppg last year will aim to go further this season. All-American Cockburn features as third in our list with many tipping his physical dominance and attributes as key to UCLA’s chances of success this season.
