The Australian forward gets an NBA opportunity with Golden State

According to ESPN, the Golden State Warriors have signed Taran Armstrong to a two-way contract. The 23-year-old Australian, who played for the Cairns Taipans in the NBL, averaged 16.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 4.6 assists this season while shooting 45.9% from the field and 34.3% from three. Armstrong, a former California Baptist player, has also competed for the Australian national team in the AsiaCup Qualifiers in 2020 and 2024.
