Stephen Curry steps up late, lifts Warriors into playoffs with 37-point night

The Warriors’ leader delivered in crunch time to secure a postseason spot. Up next: the Houston Rockets

With the game on the line, Stephen Curry showed why he’s one of the game’s great closers. The Golden State Warriors star poured in 37 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 4 assists in a 121-116 win over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Curry knocked down two huge threes in the final two minutes and calmly sank free throws to ice the game. Despite being harassed by Scotty Pippen Jr. for much of the night, Curry found his rhythm late and paired perfectly with Jimmy Butler’s explosive night. The Warriors now face the Houston Rockets in a best-of-seven series starting Sunday.
