Stephen Curry delivered a vintage performance at the 2025 NBA All-Star Game, propelling Team OGs to a 41-25 victory over the Global Stars and capturing his second career MVP award.
Playing in San Francisco, Curry electrified the crowd with a half-court three-pointer, followed by two more deep shots that extended his team’s lead to 39-21. Jayson Tatum sealed the win with a dunk.
“It was just one of those moments, having fun,” Curry said after receiving 12 of 14 MVP votes. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Damian Lillard were also in contention, but Curry’s performance stood out.
“When he’s playing in front of his home crowd, you just let him cook,” said Kyrie Irving, praising Curry’s impact. The NBA’s new All-Star format, featuring elimination rounds and target scores, helped bring back competitiveness to the event.
