Steph Curry: Can’t rush return from tricky hamstring injury

The Warriors star is out at least until Game 4. Daily evaluation will guide his comeback

Stephen Curry is dealing with a Grade 1 left hamstring strain, a type of injury he’s never had before. “It’s tricky. You can’t rush it,” he said before Game 2 against Minnesota.

The Golden State Warriors guard emphasized the need to listen to his body. He’s not even close to returning to basketball movements, let alone playing again.

Curry admitted this moment is emotionally hard: “I hope to be back soon, but only if it’s safe.” His return will depend on how he responds to rehab each day.
