Barcelona player Álex Abrines has suffered a small muscle injury that puts in doubt his participation in the pre-Olympic tournament in Valencia, which starts next Tuesday.
The coach of the Spanish national team, Sergio Scariolo, confirmed that Abrines has suffered a small fibrillar rupture and his presence is uncertain due to the tight time frame for recovery.
“We have great concern about the injury of Abrines, who is a fundamental player for us. He has a small fibrillar rupture, it is not serious, but the time is very short. It is likely that he will not be able to play,” said Scariolo.
