SLUC Nancy Basket is pleased to announce the arrival of 23-year-old Nigerian pivot Godwin Omenaka (2.02 m).
Noted and coached in Hungary between 2017 and 2020 at the DEAC club, he discovered the world of professionalism in his adopted country at Alba Fehevar for 2 seasons before moving to Hungary to join Egis Kormend last year.
This season, he joins the current second team in the French league, JL Bourg, with its plethora of players.
In 15 games, the imposing pivot averaged 6.3 points – 4.5 rebounds and 0.3 rating points in 14 minutes, for a rating of 8.7 points.
Hampered by dominant players like Massa and Kokila, he decided to join SLUC Nancy Basket to bring all his energy and potential to the club team.
In Shevon Thompson’s absence, he will provide Sylvain Lautié’s men with an additional inside solution.
