Slask Wroclaw signs Saulius Kulvietis

Through the one-year contract signing of power forward Saulius Kulvietis, Slask Wroclaw increased the size and expertise of its frontcourt. Kulvietis (2.06 meters, 32 years old) comes from Buyukcekmece, where he played in the Turkish League last year and averaged 9.2 points on 40.0% three-point shooting, along with 3.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists.
Kulvietis made his international debut in 2017–18 when he spent a year with Juventut Badalona. In 2019–20, he played with JDA Dijon in France. He signed with Rytas Vilnius for the next season, but left to play for VEF Riga in Latvia, MoraBanc Andorra in Spain, and Baskets Bonn in Germany in 2021–2022. He will now play in his first BKT EuroCup match.
