Shanghai has a deal in place with Jamaal Franklin whose CBA rights are owner by Shanxi, a source told Sportando.
Franklin has played with Shanxi the past two seasons averaging 24.8ppg, 8.2rpg and 9.4apg in 2020-2021. Shanxi could ask Shanghai for a buyout to allow Franklin to sign with them
