Sergio Scariolo reportedly evaluating to sue Virtus Bologna president Massimo Zanetti
Former Virtus coach would file a complaint against previous employer for saying he held talks with Real Madrid earlier this summer
Former Virtus Bologna head coach Sergio Scariolo is reportedly evaluating to sue his former employer, team president and owner Massimo Zanetti, for saying that he held talks with Real Madrid earlier this summer, according to Spanish outlet Relevo.
In Luca Banchi’s press conference, Zanetti lashed out at Scariolo saying he undervalued Virtus Bologna by holding talks with Toronto Raptors and Real Madrid. While a meeting with Toronto Raptors actually took place, as confirmed by Relevo, with Virtus Bologna’s proper authorisation (including in written form), the media says that a meeting between Scariolo and Real Madrid actually never took place.
