According to SDNA, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has reportedly granted a sentence reduction to Dinos Mitoglou. The Greek forward’s punishment has been cut down to 16 months, meaning it would expire at the end of the month, thus allowing the player to be available for the upcoming FIBA World Cup.
Mitoglou’s significant reduction from 32 to 16 months has been attributed to his cooperation with judges and authorities, leading him to be seen as a “victim” of the doctor who administered prohibited substances to him a year and a half ago.
Panathinaikos is said to have stepped up negotiations to bring Dinos Mitoglou back to Oaka, which is the exact place where he tested positive a year and a half ago when he was a player for Olimpia Milano.
