Scottie Wilbekin fined $7.5k for throwing a bottle toward a fan after loss vs Maccabi Rishon

Scottie Wilbekin has been signed 25,000NIS (roughly $7,500) for throwing a bottle toward a fan after Maccabi TLV’s loss vs Maccabi Rishon, the Israeli Federation announced. Wilbekin has also been sentenced to a potential 1-year suspension from the Israeli League if he commits another violation of the player’s code of ethics.
Wilbekin apologized for what he did and claimed that he committed this act in the face of a provocation against him by the home team fans.
