Scoot Henderson, has been shut down by the G League season

Scoot Henderson’s season with the G League Ignite appears to be over.

The Ignite are out of playoff contention and it is believed that Henderson has already showcased enough of his abilities ahead of the NBA Draft.

Henderson is projected to be selected as either the second or third overall pick in the draft.

In 19 G League games, Henderson averaged 16.5 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 6.5 assists in 30.7 minutes.

Scoot Henderson, projected No. 2 pick in the 2023 NBA draft, has been shut down by the G League for the remainder of Ignite’s season, a league official told ESPN. Ignite is unlikely to make the playoffs and the G League feels Henderson has shown enough this season.
