Scariolo: Our goal is to stay focused on ourselves

Real Madrid-Segafredo Virtus Bologna scheduled tomorrow at 8:45 p.m. at the Wizink Center for the 5th Round of Euroleague

Virtus Bologna Coach Sergio Scariolo talks before the game with Real Madrid:

“Real Madrid is obviously one of the top teams in this competition, in the last ten years they have always remained at a very high level, they have played several Final Fours and we have already seen some of their  players in those circumstances. It’s going to be a really tough challenge for us, but I think we’ve made some progress since last week: we’ve worked on the team’s collective, some players have improved their form. I think we could extend the minutes of good basketball then obviously against Real Madrid it is never enough. But our goal is to stay focused on ourselves: to improve, we have to take care of the ball, take better shots and increase our desire and ability to share the ball. We will have to be solid on defense, especially defensive rebounds. We have several goals in front of us that are difficult to achieve against a strong team like Real but at the same time we have a clear idea of what we are up against. We go to Madrid to improve and compete.”
