Sasha Vezenkov has signed a legendary contract with Olympiacos, which could become the largest in the club’s history as reported Sport24. The Bulgarian player, MVP of the EuroLeague for the 2022/23 season, has agreed to a five-year deal worth a total of €17 million, potentially reaching €20 million with bonuses.
Olympiacos demonstrated a strong interest in bringing Vezenkov back, offering a contract that surpasses Josh Childress’s 2008 deal. Childress’s contract was $20 million over three years but included exit clauses he used to return to the NBA.
If Vezenkov fulfills his contract, it will surpass all previous offers in total compensation, setting a new record for Olympiacos.
