Barça and Sarunas Jasikevicius have decided to part company after three seasons together.
The club is embarking on a new project with the basketball section and has reached an agreement with Roger Grimau, who will be head coach for the next two seasons, through to 30 June 2025.
44-year-old Grimau has been coaching Barça Atlètic and the junior team for the last two years (2021-23), getting great results and developing some highly promising future talents. Before that, from 2018 to 2021, he was assistant coach to the second team in LEB Oro and LEB Plata. Of course, he also played for Barça for eight seasons (2003-2011), including captaining the side to the EuroLeague title in 2010.
FC Barcelona wishes to publicly thank Jasikevicius for his professionalism, commitment, dedication and ever-positive attitude towards all members of the blaugrana family in his time at the club and wishes him every success in the future. He will always have a home at Barça.

In three seasons as FC Barcelona coach (2020-23) Jasikevicius twice won the Liga Endesa (2021, 2023), as well as two Copas del Rey (2021, 2022) and one Liga Catalana (2022).
The team has also qualified for the EuroLeague Final Four every time of asking (2021, 2022 and 2023). The Lithuanian is leaving the club after coaching the team through 268 games, winning 204 of them.
