Denver Nuggets point guard Russell Westbrook became the first player in NBA history to record 200 career triple-doubles.
Westbrook helped the Nuggets to a significant win over the Grizzlies with 12 points, 10 rebounds and 14 assists.
The former UCLA standout is first all-time ahead of Oscar Robertson (181), Magic Johnson (138), his teammate Nikola Jokic (136, the main ‘suspect’ to take the record away from him….) and LeBron James (117).
Westbrook also surpassed Rajon Rondo and Mark Jackson in terms of the number of teams he has scored at least one triple-double with 6 (Thunder, Rockets, Wizards, Lakers, Clippers and Nuggets).
