Bulls forward Chandler Hutchison will undergo arthroscopic surgery on Tuesday, March 17, to treat the acromioclavicular joint injury of his right shoulder. He originally sustained the injury on Nov. 27 after a direct blow in the game at the Golden State Warriors. Hutchison then reinjured his right shoulder in the game at the Washington Wizards on Feb. 11. He has continued to experience acromioclavicular joint pain despite undergoing a four-week period of prescribed rest and therapy, and surgery is deemed the appropriate course of action. The projected recovery time is 12-16 weeks.

The Cleveland Cavaliers and head coach J.B. Bickerstaff have agreed to a multi-year deal, league sources tell cleveland.com.
Bickerstaff, originally hired by the Cavs as associate head coach last spring, took over for John Beilein on Feb. 19, following Beilein’s resignation just 54 games into his NBA coaching career.

The Oklahoma City Blue has acquired forward LiAngelo Ball, the team announced today.
Ball (6-5, 230) spent the 2017-18 season with Vytautas Prienai of the LKL and appeared in 14 games (six starts), averaging 12.6 points and 2.9 rebounds in 21.7 minutes per game, while shooting 41.5 percent from the three-point line.
In a related move, Oklahoma City has waived center Tyler Davis. Davis was acquired on Nov. 29.

DeAndre Jordan denied reports about Kenny Atkinson’s firing in Brooklyn linked to the high-profile players signed last summer as Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant.
Per ESPN, “Yeah, I’m close to Kyrie, but Wilson [Chandler] is a new player, Garrett Temple’s a new player,” Jordan said Sunday. “We’re all new players, so if you’re going to say new players, put it on all eight of the new players.

Porter rehabbed two separate knee injuries that affected his college career and draft stock, but he is expected to be ready for training camp next season.

The Milwaukee Bucks announced that Giannis Antetokounmpo sustained a left leg injury Friday night. He underwent an MRI and subsequent examination. The evaluation showed a minor joint capsule sprain of the left knee.
