According to Francesco Pioppi, Michele Ruzzier is on the verge of leaving Virtus Segafredo Bologna to return to Pallacanestro Trieste.
The 29-year-old point guard is expected to sign a deal until 2024 with an option for another season.
Ruzzier played just 14 minutes in the Italian LBA this year, his second with the team led by Scariolo.
Pallacanestro Reggiana signed Beka Burjanadze to a tryout contract.
The Georgian will join the Italian team from Tuesday.
Last season Burjanadze was in Spain with Sevilla averaging 6.3 points and 3.4 rebounds.
The Tainan TSG GhostHawks are hoping to sign Carmelo Anthony to a contract for this season. GhostHawks head coach Liu Meng-chu said that the team’s ownership had greenlit making an offer to Anthony, as reported by FocusTaiwan.
The 19-year NBA veteran is a free agent after his contract with the Los Angeles Lakers expired last summer. Several teams have been rumored to have interest in signing Anthony, but nothing has come to fruition as of yet.
